To launch this blog I’m posting a bunch of throw-backs, starting off with this self-made video from my trip to Yangshuo, China.
Yangshuo climbing is incredible. It’s rapidly growing into the epicentre of Asian climbing, which is why it draws climbers in from all over China and the rest of the world.
I first went to China at the end of 2015. I didn’t know anyone there but I had 80m of rope, a load of quickdraws and a GoPro. I quickly met fellow climbers and went about documenting my visit to Yangshuo with this little video. I’d never made a video before (as you can tell) but I think the amateur charm compensates a little for the production value.
