I work as a climbing coach, a mental training coach and an ICF trained conversational life coach. In all of my coaching work, I use a combination of these approaches and my experience as a climber to serve my clients as best as possible.

Fall Practice and Mental Training
This is without doubt the most valuable and highest-leverage work I do with climbers.
Climbing is a very psychological challenge, and the work we do in training our minds for climbing carries over into everything we do.
Through mental training, our minds can be a strength that helps us perform and get the most out of what we do, rather than holding us back.
I work with climbers to help them manage fear of falling, performance anxiety and pressure, optimise focus and performance, and build a supportive, resilient mindset.

Conversational Coaching
One-to-one, remote conversational coaching over video conferencing.
I practise a non-directive model of coaching which, in combination with coaching, climbing and instructing experience, allows me to work in a balanced coach-mentor role.
This means that your individual experience is always the focus of a session, but you also benefit from the expertise and experience of a professional.
